Mr. Sam H. Young died at his home in St. Louis Monday, of acute meningitis, and was buried there Tuesday. Mr. Young had been engaged in the wholesale hat business in St. Louis for many years, was connected with the Gauss-Langenberg Hat Co., of that city, and was well and favorably known to many people in Covington, who will be grieved to learn of his death.
He was a brother of the late Harry S. Young, one of the most prominent members of the Covington bar in his day, and has many relatives in this city. He was about 65 years of age, was a member of the Presbyterian church for many years, was a genial and courteous gentleman and a successful business man.
