William Jackson, 78, a former well-known and highly esteemed citizen of the Burlison vicinity, this county, but who for the past 20 years had been making his home at Locke, Shelby county, died Saturday midnight, after a month’s illness. His body was brought after his death to Maley’s funeral home, this city, where the funeral, conducted by Rev. G.W. Tracy, of Holiness church was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock, after which the interment took place in Munford cemetery. Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, five sons, and two daughters.
