Dec 1, 1913 – May 28, 1989 – John J. Jackson, 75, retired farmer, died Sunday at Baptist Hospital-Lauderdale in Ripley at 2 p.m. today at Munford Funeral Home with burial in Ravenscroft Cemetery near Munford. He leaves six daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Carter of Roby, Mo., Mrs. Mary Ann Hunter of Burlison, Mrs. Carolyn Lanto and Mrs. Shelby Lowe, both of Reno, Nev., Mrs. Wanda Bellow of Kenosha, Wis., and Mrs. Paullette Belk of Atoka; four sons, Julian Jackson of Munford, Bryson Jackson of South Vienna, Ohio, Sanford Jackson and Algie Jackson, both of Covington, 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
