Mrs. Ada Boyd, wife of Mr. J. T. Boyd, formerly of the Detroit neighborhood, died at her home in Blytheville, Ark., on Wednesday of last week, after a short illness. A little son, Leon, died on the Monday preceding. Mrs. Boyd was about 35 years of age, and is survived by her husband and four children. Messrs. J. W. and R. J. Boyd and E. F. Anderson, of the Detroit neighborhood, attended the funeral, returning from there Friday. (The Covington Leader, Thursday, March 21, 1918)
